The test is scored on a scale of 100 to 699 points for 39 questions in 60 minutes. This score is then converted to NCLC (Canadian Language Benchmarks), the scale IRCC uses for immigration applications. Here is the conversion that applies to Reading.

Two official references coexist: the CEFR level printed on the certificate follows the TCF scale in hundreds of points (400-499 = B2, 500-599 = C1), which is the one used in this table; France Éducation international's NCLC equivalence table, on the other hand, links NCLC 7 and NCLC 8 to B2.
