The most common scams

  • "Take the TCF Canada online from home" — false. The official test is taken only at an approved centre, in person.
  • Fake certificates / bought results — extremely risky: detected fraud can lead to rejection of your immigration file and a ban.
  • Fake registration sites that take fees without ever registering you.
  • Misleading prep platforms: content not matching the official format, "100% guaranteed score" promises, fake reviews.

What's official (reliable markers)

The TCF Canada is designed by France Éducation international (FEI). Registration is through approved centres (Institut français, Alliance Française, partner universities…). Results and immigration go through IRCC. If in doubt about a centre, check it appears in the official list of approved centres.

How to choose legitimate preparation

  • A free trial to judge quality yourself, without paying blindly.
  • Content matching the official format (39 questions, timer, NCLC scale).
  • Explained corrections and correction of expression (writing and speaking).
